Homeless  June 6, 2008 - June 30, 2008

I recently watched a homeless man standing outside of a gas station. He stood near the door, and he politely opened the door for each person entering or exiting. He did not bother anyone or ask for anything. He simply stood there opening the door and nodding.

He inspired this contest...

Write a short story, poem, script, etc. about the homeless community. It can be about an individual, a group, or anything related to the homeless. (Nothing with voilence towards the homeless will be selected.) I will select the top three pieces of writing.
