Reading and Deliberating

Details

The web-based art & lit showcase INK WELL is accepting submissions for its upcoming Volume 7, themed "Change", through the end of this month. If you're looking to gain exposure for your creative work,, get inspired by other artists and writers, or just find yourself in need of an excuse to sit down and create something--then you're in the right place.

Ink Well Magazine (and we use the term "magazine" quite loosely) was founded in 2011 by two friends & corporate humbums as a way to wrangle a little creativity back into our lives. Faced with the daily doldrums of Excel spreadsheets, meetings about meetings, and endless email spam, Ink Well aims to help you live outside of the margins, showcasing extraordinary talent from the writers, artists, photographers, and creative minds that inspire us. We're here to serve as your creative outlet and help get the word out about you!

Every other month (6x a year), Ink Well selects a theme and invites contributors to submit their original work related to that theme. As an artist/editor team, we're working to build a community around a love of creating works of art. Join us.

In the spirit of the new year, we've selected "Change" at the theme for our next issue. Change almost always meanss new opportunities and challenges. Some of us embrace change as exhilarating and inspiring; others resist it as something that is difficult or unsettling. Often, it's both. Share with us your projects in which you deal with change in one way or another, for better or for worse. What do you have to say?

Please check out www.inkwellmag.com for more, including helpful submission guidelines (yep, we have a couple). You can email us at submissions [at] inkwellmag.com.

Thanks for your time!
