Is there a darker side to a rainbow?  March 4, 2009 - January 4, 2010

Reading and Deliberating

Details

Have you ever stood outside in the sunshine, watching as rain falls a few yards away? Have you ever thought 'how peculiar,' for the rain does not touch your skin? Have you ever stepped foot outside after a drizzle, put your hands to the grass, and found that only one hand got wet?

That is what I like to call the darker side of a rainbow. Split in two, the rainbow has its bright and visible colors, while darker colors hide behind those bright colors, where the eye cannot see.

Write a story or show me a chapter showing a character going through such side of a rainbow. Show me what crisiss' they have gone through, what has caused them to be ripped in two. Tell me why and how they did this to themselves, how each thud of their darker half growing pains them inside.
