KERRY'S Sunday Challenge CURTAIN CALL  June 25, 2011 - June 26, 2011

Dear Friends,

Five weeks ago, we were in despair, burnt out, spending less time in the Cafe or preparing to quit it all together. Together, we put in a huge effort to rejuvenate the environment in which we were writing and to support one another, through means of contests, of which this has been only one of many.

Over these past weeks, I have been awe-struck, as never before, at the creative out-put of this group of friends and welcomed the chance to meet many poets, whom I had not read before, who willingly shared their work in the contests.

I thank you all for your positive feedback - many poets expressing their sense of renewed vigour in writing and marvelling at the work they produced which was completely outside their comfort zones.

What made me the happiest of all, was to see all the participants reading, reviewing and giving heart-felt support to the others who had entered the contest with them.

CURTAIN CALL

This part of the contest is open only to those who have entered a piece in KERRY'S Sunday Challenges #1 to 5.

THE AIM

To choose by participant vote, the Top Three poems of the entire contest.
