DetailsDear friends in writing.....
At the request of someone who shall remain nameless, I am offering this challenge to all who love the Limerick form! (They know who they are!) ONE ENTRY EACH and you have until MAY, 5 2015. PLEASE KEEP STRICTLY TO THE 'FORM' required for LIMERICKS (please see below) and PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN FOR THE 'LITTLE KIDDIES' ;) Have FUN! ********************************************************************************** A limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines. The first, second, and fifth lines must have seven to ten syllables while rhyming and having the same verbal rhythm. The third and fourth lines only have to have five to seven syllables, and have to rhyme with each other and have the same rhythm. To put it more simply, here is an excellent link: http://www.poetry4kids.com/blog/lessons/how-to-write-a-limerick/ ********************************************************************************** Helena (Blue Rose) PrizesBlue ribbon for winner! Shining stars for the runner-ups!!
