Dear you,

I love writing and reading letters. I don't write journal entries; I write letters to whoever I want to and then put them in envelopes, never to actually be sent. Then I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky-- a book told entirely in letters! I was in awe. I realized that letters can be very powerful storytelling tools, and not just a way for me to express my feelings without alarming anyone :)

So, I want you to write a letter. It can be to your best friend or to someone across the country that you've never met. It can be fictional; it can be personal. It can be witty; it can be heart-breaking. I'll take anything-- just make me wish to be the person you're writing to.
