Metaphors or similes  April 14, 2012 - April 18, 2012

For this competition, you need to write a poem entitled either 'metaphor' or 'simile and then what it is about. for example, 'simile-eyes like the moon'. basically i want a really powerful and descriptive poem with only using one similie(the one in the title) and elaboration on it. did her eyes shine like the moon? where they round like the moon? did they glow in the evening light like the moon? please don't enter any poems that weren't written specifically for this contest, i want all new original entries. enjoy :)

ps: you can enter up to two but theymust each be different: 1 simile and 1 metaphor, not two similes; this can show your variety and explore your talents more :)
