D.R. Ergo here, with a challenge of a contest for you all.

Content & Formatting Requirements:

• Must not contain 18+ material. Includes explicit sex, descriptive nudity, extreme sexual/violent/drug references, etc.

• Must be original. This can be a work you have already published, but it must be your own work. Any co-authors should be recognized in the entry.

• Must be written in the form of a Screenplay, Stage play, Story, or Chapter.

• Between 250 and 2, 500 words. Approximately. I won't disqualify you for having 249 words, or 2, 510 words. But you should not be more than 150 words over or under the limit.

• Written in 12pt font. Any font of your choosing, with any style of your choosing. The submitted entry just needs to be in 12pt. font (for my eyes' sake).


Plot Requirements

• Must be in the genre(s) of Mystery, Crime & Investigative, Romance, Monologue, Teen & Young Adult, Fiction, and/or Adventure.

• Must have at least one death, before or during the course of the story.

• Must be written in First-Person, for at least 1/3 of the story.



The Goal

• Using descriptive language to provoke emotion in the reader.

• Exploring the First-Person point-of-view.

• Honorable Mention: Link to Story and Author Name kept on My Profile for 3 (three) days; Detailed Review on entry; Story added to My Favorites; and/or a total of 2 (two) reviews.
