Revive a Lost Word  June 26, 2014 - July 12, 2014

I challenge you to bring a word back to life.

Take a word no longer used in our common dialect (put the word in the title and the definition in the description) and then write a poem that connects to the definition.

As writer's I feel it is our duty to respect and admire our language. I hope this challenges you to bring new words into your work and breathe new life into them. There are quite a few sites that give such words. Such as www.unusedwords.com and tons on www.pinterest.com

The example I have chosen is:

Apricity (n) the warmth of the sun on a cold winter's day
