Romance Writers Haven!  May 23, 2008 - November 24, 2008

Reading and Deliberating

The genre of your stories must be romance. There are rules that you must go by:
-If your romance genre is poetry based, you must explain what romance is like.
-If you are writing a short story, the minimum amount of words that you must have is 750 words(749 falls too short) and the maximum amount of words that you must have are 3,100 words. That goes for chapters as well. I will copy and paste all entries of this contest to Microsoft Word Processor. There I will see the word count of your story. If it is 749 words and below, or even over 3,100 words, then your entry will be disqualified.
-The romance genre of short story must be either a happily even after or romantic tragedy.
-Also about the disqualification, if I find your word count too low or high, then I will send you a private message that you must take your entry out of the contest.
-Winners of this contest will be contacted will a private message.
-6th place winner is an honorable mention.
