Shoving Two Lines Down Your Throat August 12, 2007 - August 26, 2007
Win - [writing deleted]
Very simple. Your mission is to write a poem that includes these two lines:
We guard your souls for peanuts,
And we guard your shops and houses for just a little more.
Where the lines appear in the poem makes no damn difference to me. They just need to be somewhere. The lines, incidentally, are lifted from the Genesis song "The Battle of Epping Forest." A committee of six Gary Glitter impersonators will select the finalists, with their order being determined by the masses.
