Six-Word Memoir  July 2, 2008 - August 4, 2008

According to legend Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? �For sale: baby shoes, never worn.� Smith magazine held a contest on the subject last year, and the response was overwhelming, ranging from the bittersweet (�Cursed with cancer, blessed with friends�) to the poignant (�I still make coffee for two�) to the inspirational (�Business school? Bah! Pop music? Hurrah�) and hilarious (�I like big butts, can�t lie�).

Here's mine: "This life, thankfully, still under construction."
