Synaesthesia  December 1, 2009 - January 20, 2010

Synaesthesia:
1. A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color.
2. A sensation felt in one part of the body as a result of stimulus applied to another, as in referred pain.
3. The description of one kind of sense impression by using words that normally describe another.

Submit surreal poetry. Poetry that creates swirling emotions and colors in the mind. Poetry that creates a reminiscent feel. The genre has to be Nature & Environmental, Poetry or Romance.

The 3 winners will be the pieces that create the greatest experience through reading their writing. An example: if you were writing about nature, convince the reader through your writing of red grass and silver water and the how it would be to touch it. The crazier and less real it is the better.
