Details

This contest is for a horror anthology of short stories coming out close to Halloween entitled "Tales To Fuel Your Nightmares: A Collection of New Horror." This goal of this contest is to allow seven amateur horror writers an outlet to get published.

RULES:
1) DO NOT SUBMIT ANYTHING THAT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED BEFORE! This anthology is meant for those who have never been published, to be published. If you have had a story published, thats fine, but dont submit the story/stories that you have had published.
2) Only short stories may be submitted.
3) Word count should be from 1,000-6,500 words
4) We want stories that are original and scary. We do not deter against the use of gore, however, do not think that you can submit a gore fest that lacks plot and think it will be published. Use it sparingly!
5) Refrain from extreme sexual content. This is horror, not porn!
6) Zombie, vampire, and werewolf stories are not recommended unless they are extremely original and well written.
7) I will not be editing your story. Whats that mean? EDIT YOUR STORY!! If you havent read through your story at least 3 times and/or had someone else read through it, dont bother submitting.
8) Winners will be required, at the end of the contest, to e-mail me your story in a DOC or RTF file.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in your story to become disqualified!
