The Book Drum Tournament  November 3, 2009 - January 31, 2010

Reading and Deliberating

Book Drum has pioneered an exciting new approach to reading. We're bringing the books we love to life with images, music, maps, video, and all the other riches of the Internet:

To launch Book Drum, we're holding a Tournament.

Were looking for writers and editors all over the English-speaking world to help us assemble a collection of Profiles that illustrate and illuminate great books. Well be hiring a few full-time, and commissioning others on a job-by-job basis, recruiting from amongst the best entries to the Book Drum Tournament.

To enter, choose a book you love and create a profile that illustrates and explores the book for others. Each profile should include a brief summary, a review, a biographical note about the author, a description of the book's setting, a glossary, and a page-by-page set of "Bookmarks". Full guidelines are available at

If youd like to work with us or if you just want a shot at the 2,000 ($3000) of prizes enter the Tournament now at

Please note, the Tournament is open to people worldwide and is not limited to members of writerscafe.
