The Coming of Winter  November 21, 2011 - December 12, 2011

Hello, my darklings! This month's contest is not about Thanksgiving, although I'm sure that many of you were assuming that. Instead, the current contest will be about the coming of Winter (we have not yet reached the Winter Solstice, so it's still Autumn).

The style will be free and you may do long poetry. You are allowed to do whatever style of poetry you choose. The only thing is that you must find some kind of darkness in the topic. The poem may be about nature itself, the ideas of Winter, the death of one season for the coming of another...whatever you can interpret from the transition.

Remember that it must not be a mature poem. It is easier to watch out in this. Adhere to the other conditions I mentioned in the previous contest. Otherwise, carry on with your writings to the prompt! And good luck!
