The Ones Who Hear the Rain  December 1, 2011 - December 16, 2011

Right now, I'm in the process of finishing up a short story titled, "The Girl Who Heard the Rain". It's about a girl with - you guessed it - the power to hear the rain. But this power doesn't DO anything; it's not useful at all.
Pretend that we live in a society of the Talented, of the superhuman. Give me a piece about that, either a short story or a poem (although the story is preferred). The degree of superhumanity is up to you; you can have someone who is entirely useful or just someone whose abilities confine them to the sidelines. This is a fun challenge!! Spread the word!!
Oh, and reviews for my story would be a nice reciprocating gesture. =)
