The Song-Book Contest  June 21, 2007 - August 21, 2007

Write a short story based around a well known song. Use the lyrics to reflect and guide your story and incorporate all of them somehow within the text. This is quite a tricky old bird to nail down so you get two months to crack it.

There's no limit on word length but try to avoid a novel if you can and no restriction of genre - short stories only, please. Just make it as original as you can.

I gave it a go a while back and came up with the story below. This was based around Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - a tale of murder, betrayal and revenge set in Miami:
