To what end?  May 6, 2012 - May 14, 2012

What do you believe is the purpose of art? Of culture? Of all those scribblings written by you and hundreds of men and women since time immemorial? Is it to enunciate a truth, or to create an illusion, to recreate an emotion, to communicate faithfully a feeling, or something else entirely?

These questions I put to you and challenge you to compose a piece of any length that provides an answer. Awards will be given for the following:

Most Persuasive,
Most Emotive,
Most Original,
and three honourable mentions.

So come on put into writing what matters art to you and to the world!
