Details

Inspired by Pablo Neruda's poem, "September 8th":

Write about something that happened today. It could be in your life, or in someone's like close to you. It could be something you read in the newspaper. It could be something you imagine is happening on the other side of the world. Something profound; the discovery of new planets, the toppling of a government. Living with daily censorship, cowardice, courage, or fear. A mind blowing love affair you wish to start. Taking out the trash. Watching a butterfly in your garden, or your baby rolling over in her sleep.

Just, write a poem capturing the essence of "today". Previously writen submissions will be considered ONLY IF THEY MEET THE THEME.
