Satire is defined as a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule. One great example of this is the poem "A Description of a City Shower" by Jonathan Swift (seen here: http://www.web-books.com/Classics/Poetry/Anthology/Swift/DescriptionCity.htm). Some other more popular examples would be The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, and the motion picture "Man of the Year." Please break out your pens and construct a work of satire pertaining to any subject. You may submit poetry and fiction. Try to keep it under 1000 words or I'll never get through them all :).
