Universal writer challenge  June 7, 2007 - June 14, 2007

Reading and Deliberating

Details

One of the hardest challenges for any writer is to be able to do a variety of things in his/her work. From fresh ideas, to defining realistic characters, suspense.... and on it goes. The challenge here is simple, you must submit two poems or two short stories, the first of complete horror, mystery, suspense, whatever. But your second poem or story must be the complete opposite of whatever your first poem/story was. To keep it simple i would say try horror, then happy poems, something that would keep it simple but its up to you to decide, short stories are welcome ( notice the emphasis on short, im not going to read 4 hour stories). That would be the only rule, so lets see whos the most universal writer!
