We The (Women) People  March 17, 2008 - June 17, 2008

As you all may know, the year 2008 and stands as a great accomplishment for all women. Wether or not you vote for Hilliary Clinton, is not the issue concerning this contest, but rather realizing and appreaciting the fact that a woman can run and quite possibly be a president of America one day. Here is your assignment: You must write a poem (haikus and various other types that are metered are accepted), a story, or even a song that express how far women have come and how far we still might have to go, not so much as to attain "equality to males", but rather to show we can still be a powerful force and retain our feminality. Use historical examples if you can in your work. Are you up to the challenge I Am Woman group? I hope so! I want you to have fun with it, but to deliver a serious message in the end.
