Wednesday Night Writes Sestina Contest  July 30, 2012 - August 20, 2012

Write a fixed verse sestina. Don't be intimidated, they're actually quite fun when you get the hang of them. There is a method to writing one, so please just hop on wikipedia and read the form to writing a sestina. All contestants who do not follow the "rules" of a sestina will be discarded.

And, of course, the prize--depending on how many submissions we get and like--will be a chance to be published in our upcoming issue of Wednesday Night Writes.

So if you're a poet who believes they have some talent, I suggest you stress your literary mind and skills and give this contest a shot.
