What is poetry?  August 24, 2007 - September 5, 2007

Ok all, I decided based on mixed reviews and recent reading that I am confused about what each of you consider good poetry. So my little test is not to have you answer my question in your poem but answer my question with your poem. In other words write the best poem you can- the content, rythem, rhyming etc.is all up to you. Following your poem write a brief statement of what you consider good poetry and why you wrote what you did. Feel free to submit a poem that you have already written if you think it applies. We will vote on the winner!
