Details

To celebrate Apple’s iPhone 5 announcement, Gizmobird.co.uk are giving you the chance to win this year’s hottest and most anticipated gadget. Yes that’s right, you can win the new iPhone!
To be in with your chance of winning the new iPhone 5 all you need to do is write us an iPhone 5 or new iPad rumour. It can be as crazy or as believable as you like.
Each competition entry should consist of a catchy, compelling headline coupled with a descriptive article of at least 100 words. You can go above and beyond the call of duty by also submitting a fake photo or spoof YouTube video to go along with your entry but this is totally optional. Once you’re happy with your iPhone rumour, just submit it to us via our competitions page. Once approved, it will be featured live on along with all other successful entries.
All featured iPhone rumours will be at the mercy of the public vote. The three rumours with the most public votes will make it to the finals, where only one will be chosen by us (the judges) as the winner of the new iPhone 5.
If you think you have what it takes to write a great rumour what are you waiting for, open up that word doc and start typing! Deadline for new entries and public votes is 30th Sep 2012 so get your rumour in early!
To enter this fabulous competition simply visit and submit your rumour. We wish you the very best of luck.
