DetailsI know no-one's used to form much these days, so here's a special kind of challenge for you -- a sonnet. A modern sonnet or an old-style one, it must follow the basic structure of 14 lines written in 10-syllable iambic pentameter lines. I would suggest a rhyme scheme to go along with it, but it's not necessary. In case you want it, the Shakespearean rhyme scheme is ABAB CDCD EFEF GG... and that worked out pretty well for him.
Automatic first prize to anyone who writes me a crown of sonnets. ... All sonnets have to be around a specific theme. It usually ends up being love, but it certainly doesn't have to be. Good luck good luck good luck! I look forward to reading these. Prizespure priceless satisfaction
