I love watching movies of revenge, for example "Payback", which is one of my favority revenge stories. He is shot in the back, left for dead, comes back, kills some people, almost gets killed, but gets away in the end.

For this contest I would like to see a character have something happen to them. It can range from something minor, like his newspaper is stolen everyday by the neighbor. To something really bad, his brother kills a man, and frames his brother for it.

Now that the event has taken place, what is the character going to do about it?

It can be a poem, a short story, or a piece of flash fiction. I'll leave that you
