"Beginnings: Your Submissions" WORKSHOP 3-weekend Online workshop: March 4 to 18th, 2011 Cost: $160 Early registration date/discount: Feb. 21st/ $25. Feb 25th: Deadline for registration, payment, writing submissions: query, 2-page synopsis, & 1st three chapters, up to 75 pages. Submissions critiques only give you feedback once and then the writer may be left wondering if their revisions will be enough to attract an agent. With this workshop, you will receive 2 pages of feedback every week for 3 weekends, with continued feedback on any revisions or rewriting that you submit. After the first week of feedback, the writers may revise and resubmit over the next 2 weeks, to develop and polish their submissions material. Revisions aren't necessary, but you'll get more out of the workshop. I send the feedback at the start of the weekend, so that writers have an opportunity to work on revisions over the weekend. After working hard to write and revise that novel, give your novel the best chance of being read and published by giving your submission materials a thorough review. The Beginnings workshop will focus on the opening, synopsis and query, greatly improving your chances during submissions. I will also give you feedback on the first 3 chapters.
