A Lesson by Jewel Ailiyah-Celeste Lanmont
"

The message you want to convey.

"

This is an important step because you are choosing a message. A message like: Treat others the way you want to be treated, or Do something great in life.
Choose a message that you believe in and can visualize and write about. It could be hard, but a message that you could write about. Like, for treat others the way you want to be treated, you could have a two girls. One girl - nice and has a lot of friends, and the other - bossy and spoiled, and create a whole story around it.

Here's an example:

For those of you who read "Crazy Girl" by me, you might remember the plot. My message there is that on Earth, books are needed to learn and survive. You might also recall this sentence: "...'without books, what will our characters be?'..." which is also a little message.
This can be a hard step, or an easy one - based on your opinion.
This is the shortest step...once you created a message you learned, you might know what you are to write about.

This is very helpful. My message, is to get others to recognize the difference between looking for attention, and teens that really need help. (Ex: teens that self-harm.) Self harm is NOT a way of getting attention. In personal experience, I used self-harm as a way to let emotions out because I never once thought about writing my problems down on paper. I want to show others out there that self-harm, teen or adult because both do it, that there are ways of getting help without resulting to self harm.

Right now, I'm writing a book and my main character has schizophrenia, but no one in the family knows it exists in the teens genes because it was from the fathers' side of the family, and the father passed away before anyone could ever find out.

The main point of the book series in this characters journey is to help families recognize the symptoms of schizophrenia before it gets out of hand and get help for those who have it at a young age. (This good? LOL!)
