The character The most important thing about the character is knowing who they are, what they are, and discovering if they are 'evil' or not. A good way to get started on the character is knowing about their personality. • Are they funny? A good way to get started is by learning the character names. Let us start with the name "Casey". With the example, Casey will be a boy in this case. What does "Casey" mean? His name means to be a brave person. But also, when it is a story about 'war', the name fits the character best if your character is: Vigilant in War. Because of that name choice, it will most likely be that your character would be some sort of fighter. Strong, heroic even? Well, there was one tip. I hope that would help you. Oh!! I almost forgot. Here are a few sites that can help you determine what your character's name should be :) CLICK -> Baby Names <- Making your Own Name Making up your own name for the character is the greatest way to have the name mean specifically what you want! Take for example one of my favorite stories. The name: Badrang the Tyrant from the book: Martin the Warrior by: Brian Jacques Now, this Badrang guy is a sick and evil man (in this case, animal). As you can see what others had labeled him "Tyrant" because of his bad deeds. He's not only an evil man, he's a former pirate and a slaver - one who captures slaves. Play around with some words and names and see what you get ;) ![]() Comments
