You can read some of the stories or poems on WritersCafe, a newspaper article or any old book you can find. It’s bound to give you inspiration and new ideas, but just be careful not to write anything that sounds too similar to the piece you were inspired by. Look at some inspirational quotes for help, if you want, but remember that if you don't like the quotes they will have a bad effect on any writing you try to do.

Y'know, one of the most famous sci-fi short stories ever written was inspired by a quote that the author disagreed with... He wrote the story to show how the quote was (in his view) wrong.
