No one saw it coming. Not from happy go lucky Sarah.
But no one ever saw the warning signs. She had flashed them but when you live in a world of pretentiousness, materialism and self-idolation, no one bothers to look for the real you or the real person in themselves.
Sarah calmly put the seat-belt strap she had cut out off her Volvo, the graduation gift her parents had blessed her with even though her graduation was a mirage. The school allowed her to walk up to recieve her Diploma, a blank one, the real one wouldnt come until she finished her summer school course requirements.
With the seat belt strap wrapped tightly around her throat and the seatbelt buckle tightly padlocked to the swings chains, Sarah loosened the safety bar across her lap and stood up on the swing, her equilibrium to hard to keep to give her a second chance at changing her mind, the world spinning and spinning.
Sarah jumps....her body drops straight down until her neck is snapped tight as the seatbelt reaches its line, she is flung around as her body joins the inertia of the swings.
Sarah doesnt struggle, she allows her body to be carried by the giant swing.
People in the park realize what they are now seeing and screams color the air. Parents turn their children so they dont witness the tragedy.
Michelle jumps up in a cold-sweat, it takes her a few moments to gather herself, she is in her bed, tears come down her face, she reaches for her phone and dials....
"Hello", answers Sarah.
"Thank God!", Michelle lets out with a sigh.
"I'm always here for you Sarah."
The End.
