How the heck does a girl get reviews
Posted 8 Months Ago
Well, I'd just really like a review of some kind on my book, I mean I'm getting views! Maybe it means I'm just frickin' awesome at writing, Ha. ( Not even close I'm such a noob). Well I'll make you a deal, If you would review my work, I'd gladly do the same for yours! I'm not looking for like a professional words of wisdom or anything, just what you think, something that doesn't make sense or if you just enjoyed reading it. I'll even do a critique for you would specifically want one :D
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME <3

You have quite a few views, but no reviews. Either the kinds of readers you are getting don't feel they can say anything (they might be the "this is gud" type of commenter who realises their comments are useless), or they never finish the chapter.
I'm going to read and review in a short while. I promise to keep reading and reviewing if you reciprocate. This is definitely the best way to get reviewers -- review other people and make them feel obliged to return the favour. You might notice I'm listed as one of the top reviewers. I definitely review a lot more than I get reviewed, but it makes a BIG difference all the same.

it's hard to get reviews for books here. people don't seem to want to invest the time in reading longer pieces. if you have any shorter pieces. poems or very short stories. they might attract a readership that will then read your book. or you could try posting your book in short chunks to see if that attracts readers. good luck.

Yeah I've noticed unless you write short stories or poetry nobody gives a crap about you... yet everyone expects you to read their stuff.
