i used to think the kid from the movie "the sixth sense" was a really good actor for such a young kid but now im watching it again like 7 years later and realize it sucks.

Haley Joel Osmont is the best reason to see THE SIXTH SENSE and maybe the only reason. The problem with the movie is that the whole thing is built around the so-called 'suprise ending' which I found it hard to believe that anybody was suprised at since Rod Serling used to do the same thing damn near fifty years ago on the original "Twilight Zone" and that's all THE SIXTH SENSE was: a "Twilght Zone" episode on steroids.

So basicly, the [i]Sixth Sense[/i] has no balls now...

well, i dunno if you know what i mean, but there are those actors who are really good at serious, intense, lines. and everything they say is only a sentence long and its really intense. which is ok, but when the whole movie is like that, oh my dear lord. im totally thinking keanu reeves, but i think hailey joel whatever-his-name-is is definately on his way there. but my best friend said she saw him recently on the disney channel and he's all grown up. can't wait till he comes back to movies!! *sarcasm*

non writing hobbies include the music of San Fran., hiking local nature areas and mountains, zzzzzzzz, red wine, cooking, internetting, growing my own vegetables, American bears, fantasy baseball, home-schooling (i HS my teen son), and computer composition of music

A hobby of mine is alternative history and a somewhat obscene subject refered to as enigmatica or World Wide Conspiracy. The frightening thing is some of this stuff, as far fetched as it seems, actually makes more sense and has better evidence to back it up than the original stories and explanations of history and world events.
I also enjoy going for hikes through the alaskan wilderness while butt wasted. Going fishing with my friends. Collecting twisted artworks by upcoming artists. Sometimes I'll just sit and stare at the wall for hours on end in hopes that the damn thing will do something to entertain me for once.

Speaking of older movies and kid actors, I can't bring myself to watch anything with Macaulay Culkin in it as an adult. Speaking of chicken, my oldest son worked on costumes for the new Troma movie Poultrygeist. He even got to be an extra, a victim killed by zombies (hope that part didn't get cut in editing.). I'm so proud! .... Speaking of random nonsense, I still have younger children so we try to make sure we leave time in our busy day for it. ;-)
As for me I am randomly trying to figure out the ins and outs of this site (I'm a newbie) so I can post some stuff.

No joke...I once got a biscut that baked funny and it looked like it had feet!!! Then I took a knife and drew a smiley face on it! It was all like ::smile:: hehe...

Now this random nonsense thread certainly makes a lot of sense, in a way,
