Also known as 'collaborative fiction', text-based role play allows its contributors to work together to inspire and create an elaborate story-telling experience via the written word.

Valucre features four unique boards, or continents: Terrenus, Genesaris, Tellus Mater, and Isélyr. Each of these continents have their own rich lore and serve to make up the world of Valucre. While offering our members different genres to enjoy, the site maintains a certain cohesiveness that allows members' characters to interact with one another as well as the world around them.

A fifth board, Alternative, has been established for those genres that don’t necessarily fit within the context of Valucre’s canon world.

Our community is a friendly bunch and most are willing to help new members immerse themselves into the world of Valucre as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Various articles have been created to help the new member become acquainted not only with the world of Valucre, but also with role play. The Admin and Staff are also very active, friendly, contributing members of the site who participates in discussions as well as various role plays.
