Forum Self-Publishing My self-publishing experience

My first book came out June 10, 2011 & it was the greatest sense of accomplishment that I have EVER known.  Balboa Press was the company I chose to assist me in publishing my book & they have an amazing team.  I'm so pleased with their work that I uploaded their logo on case-mate.com & had a custom case made for my iPhone 4S!  I'm very proud to have had the experience of working with these people.

This is great to hear! Congratulations! I'm researching my options right now and one of the things I'm trying to find out is how much technical knowledge I'll need if I go the self-publishing route? To the self-publishing companies offer a lot of support? What can I expect?

I just self-published my first novel.  I used iUniverse and was very pleased with the result.  As to technical help, what ever you need is available.  I didn't have a lat of money to invest, so went with a basic package, and it was enough. http://meselfpublish.blogspot.com/
