Forum Suggestions Auto playing music... My Opinions

Dont take offense to this but its kind of odd to have music that auto plays in your profile pages as well as in the actual story line areas.

When I am viewing someones page and music keeps restarting upon my changing pages I eventually either have to turn down my volume or leave.

I usually just leave, because I have my own music playing softly in the background and if I wished to hear something else over top of my music, I know how to click the play button.

Please consider turning off the auto play music features on your pages, we are here to read your writings, not listen to your play lists, and those that like to do both can still press play, if they wish to.

Thanks for considering and realizing that some of us do not like it be forced to hear music we find annoying and most likely wont stick around and view your work.

I agree. Especially when you have to be quiet at night 'cause your family or something is sleeping. You don't turn your speakers down because why would you? and then music lares through your speakers and wakes everyone up. -.- So yeah - just set them not to auto-play, everybody.

Yeah. I think a nice compromise would be if users could in their settings choose if they want music to be auto played. That way the person with the music can have viewers listen automatically if they want and those who don't want to listen won't have to.
