Let me sing a song of gratitude

This glorious day filled with sunshine

The warmth of summer, eyes closed

I feel all that is good in my life.


The music of my soul is deep and everlasting

This tune of a peaceful wisdom of life, as my horn

Blows softly, beckoning white butterflies to flutter over me

It is known they bring luck and a promise of fulfillment.


I will sing to those butterflies, a song of thanksgiving

And dance to a serenade of purpose

It is my will to make happiness abound

As I sing the unsung song of hope to the weary.


I have been most fortunate, and in return

I wish to play for you a symphony

The song that I came to sing

It is my beautiful dance of life.


I will pass onto you my wisdom of chords

The beat of my heart, the soul of my lyrics

The vibration that will make your feet dance

And the melody that will sing, I love you.
