News on an ABNA Top Ten Finalist

This week's Publisher's Weekly has a blurb in the "Deals" section (p.8) that reads in part:  "At Putnam, senior editor Rachel Kahan acquired world rights to a debut by Erica Eisdorfer called The Wet Nurse's Tale from Alexandra Machinist in Linda Chester."

I don't think Erica ever was here at Writerscafe, but if she is Congrats, Erica!  She was on the ABNA Forum a few times.  (I don't know if there still is an ABNA Forum tucked away on the Amazon site somewhere.  Its link to the main Amazon site went away one day, the loss of a civilization overnight...)

Anyway, there's a little more to the writeup, saying Erica was a book reviewer for a local NPR affiliate for eight years and owns Bull's Head Bookshop on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. It doesn't mention the ABNA contest.
