A Novel Review

Description

I cannot tell a short story. Sure, I dabble in poetry every now and then. When the moon is just right, a gem pops out. But most of the time, I've got to delve in deeper. I've got to develop my characters, give them back-stories, personalities, and plans for the future. Sometimes, I can't be happy with just a snapshot. I want to see the whole album.

So, this is a place for those of you out there who, like me, relish a long, juicy (fictitious) story. We work hard getting the mood just right, tweaking the dialogue a certain way, painting images with words so that our readers can feel like they too are having an adventure. I don't think it is very fair that the longer stories posted don't get much love. Let's face it, people don't want to sit down and read 50k + words of writing all in one sitting. But I do.

I respect poets and short story writers, but I often find myself wanting MORE. I want to read more, experience more, see MORE. Novel-writers, welcome! Pile in, show us what you've got! But remember: This goes two ways. Don't just pop in to show off what you've got. Stick around and read the long, lovely tales that others have to offer as well. This is a MUST. If you get a review, you give one. No exceptions.
