Contests
Rule changing
Group picture
Name changing
Ideas for a weekly (or bi-weekly) group course
How should I use the mail feature? (Weekly updates on so and so, leave it alone, etc)
Or anything else you can think of.

Should I make any writing contests for practice?
Like "Hook me in 1 sentence"
"Write a great description of a simple scene"
"Write a scene of dialog that's quotable and flows"
"Write a short story with a great plot arc"

Maybe a weekly contest?

Uhm...the Describe a Scene one sounds fun, work with description and stuff, but the Story one has some great potential also. One of those two, definitely.

I think maybe you should do multiple contests over time. Maybe like monthly or weekly or something. They are all such good/fun ideas and they focus on key factors of writing!

I have an idea :O.
Since 9/11 is coming up, how about we hold a contest regarding that? Y'know, a kind of tribute to the people who died there, to make sure they're not forgotten. Like, a short story or poetry-type thing? And since it's 9/5 today, that gives us six days to work on our submissions and all, yes?
