How about we have a thread for some strange facts and conspiracies of the history of Shakespeare?

For instance:
Sophocles and Shakespeare have more conspiracy theories than any other writer. Some say that Shakespeare was a great writer that published works of women writers of his time that couldn't be published just to get their great pieces out there and known, even if they couldn't have their names on it.
