Hey, I was wondering what kind of fantasy you'd all like to read, I want to hear your favourite creatures, genres (within fantasy of course) and style. I want to write a short novel that's inspired by you guys, just for the fun of it, and hear how you think I could improve!

personally, i would go for epic fantasy. Something with political intrigue and epic adventure. perhaps you could start with;

-world building
-characters (take a major POV character or multiple POV characters
-bring in the flora and fauna (creatures of the wild and of myth)
-bring in the major conflict (perhaps brewing war between two nations, or an internal discord in a monarchy and to make it even more interesting, you could add a growing sinister force which all seem indifferent to)
-create a society (people, politics, customs)

they are all an opinion.

For my case I like stories where characters growth and relationship is developing. Steps must be noted :D

Ugo-Peter definitely said exactly what I would say. I'm in the middle of writing a epic fantasy, and it's my favorite to read. Keep us updated when  you choose what your going to write.
