Go Writers!!! :D Forum Group Death

So do groups tend to die quickly here (here being writerscafe.org)?

I'm pretty new to the site but going through some of the groups, it appears that people post stuff to get a quick review of their work and then disappear into the ethernet.

I'm hoping to find a group of writers who want to consistently share/review their work.
