I am a spiritual person more than a religious person however when asked, I am Christian by birth and in this latter stage in my life, by choice. 

My favourite spiritual teachings within the bible are the parables. In particular the parable of the good Samaritan in the book of Luke.

I have always felt religion should only be a tool whereby it can help us to understand our humanity, and not enslave it, like so many do.

Words create emotions and emotions create energy... the words of Christ when understood with pure intent, help brighten the internal light within.
