Middle Critters

The Middle Critters group is for writers of middle grade/YA novels, who are serious about pursuing
their craft, who are setting writing goals for themselves and would like help and support reaching them while assisting others of a like-mind along the way.

Beginning writers are welcome, publication is NOT a requirement. We would like to encourage and offer
guidance for beginning writers who are serious about pursuing their craft. We are simply a group of writers who are dedicated to our craft and support each other on our journey toward success.

Our membership is limited to eight members to keep the workload to a reasonable level. Each member is
permitted to post one chapter or short story for critique once a week, including rewritten versions. Once a
story is posted, members are required to post a critique within ten (10) days.

Of course, flaming, tearing down of work or hurtful comments are not permitted.

Supportive, honest, constructive critiques is what we're looking for.

Members report that participation takes about four hours or more per week.
