Nurturing Embrace

I walk to the rivers edge

As the sun lays to rest

Admiring the amber glow

Upon the water crest,

Listening to the sound

Of the wild scurrying beneath

Through the rugged terrain

In search of a safe retreat,

I approach the water

With wonder and doubt

But carelessly disrobe

And drift within that

Sensual amber glow,

A radiant mood grows within

As I see my love

Approach the horizon,

With open arms

I await

For him to fall into

My nurturing embrace.
