The Second Annual Warren Adler Short Story Contest



Warren Adler, noted author of such titles as The War of the Roses and Random Hearts, is sponsoring another international competition. The new contest, open to anyone who writes in the English language, will offer a grand prize of $1000 and publication on Amazon shorts for the best submission dealing with the theme of New York City. In addition, the five finalist stories will be read "live" on Amazon's Second Life web site. The entries must not exceed 2500 words, and there is a $15 entry fee. The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2008. Winners will be announced in March to coincide with the publication of Mr. Adler's fifth collection of short stories, New York Echoes.
