I hope I am ready This little girl wearing an Elsa dress Hops into my lap and tells me what I know already "I want an Elsa and Anna doll" I ask for her name But before I know it Three year old Annabelle Matthews Is off and on her way Well that was sure quick I say Has little boy Stewart starts to say "Trucks and toy guns" And off goes eight year old Stewie With nothing else to say "Come on Aiden" I hear a mom say "Just sit on his lap and say what you want to say" Ten year old Aiden comes over But not for long "I what a new bike" and runs away The cutest little girl crawls on my lap She looks to be three She says would like a princess crown "Let's go Maggie Lynn" Yells her mom With a screaming baby in her arms Maggie looks at me will her big blue eyes and runs away Caroline Kelley looks at me "I bet your fake" she said I tell her no way She try's pulls down my beard "Caroline Elizabeth" yelled her father Which stops her in her tracks "I want a Barbie house" And she gets up and walks away I wipe away the sweat from my face To hear the intercom say "last chance to see Santa!" And right before I was packing away Little Noah comes up to me I sit back down and pull him up to me To hear him make my day "All I want is for my daddy to come home from war" And he walks away.
